We were thrilled to see one of our delectable, silk woven wool scarves on show at Natalia Vodianova and Andrea Panconesi's Fabulous Fund Fair in aid of Naked Heart Foundation. This is London's premier Fashion Week charity event and the great and the good of the entertainment world attended. Naked Heart are working to tackle the stigma of disability, so despite the ridiculous glamour on show it's all for a very good cause.
We were also super-excited to see who's neck we were adorning. None other than the young star of hit show The Vikings, Elijah Rowen. The rebellious and fast rising star of this years' Curfew on Sky One chose Maharaja's Rifle from the Guns and Roses collection to set off a black leather jacket for a perfect mix of luxury, edge and colour that really popped on the red carpet.
Maharaja's Rifle – Milan is one of three reversible scarves made of a beautifully luxurious material woven from 52% silk and 48% wool. This allows for crisp colours and detail with the warmth of wool but without the itch.
The design features a pair of engraved 'Paradox Guns', which belonged to the Maharaja of Jodhpur, braced among an arabesque of art deco roses – Beauty and violence in exquisite detail.
Being reversible means that you can wear this designer scarf to suit your outfit, your mood or the occasion. Obviously for the red carpet you want to show your bright side. If you've got it, flaunt it!
The scarves are made entirely in the UK and are not mass produced. A perfect gift for him or for her, or a treat for yourself.
