Here comes the science...

Venus is extreme! A heavily armoured space-probe that landed there survived for under an hour. Winds rage at over 450 km/h, there’s driving, corrosive acid rain and the surface pressure is 90 atmospheres which would crush you in seconds. And it’s hot... hellishly hot. It’s often over 450ºC which is hot enough to melt lead. If the ancients had known all this would they still have named the planet after the goddess of love?

50 years ago we landed on the moon and looked back for the first time...

The Planets is a collection of luxury scarves and designer pocket squares for those who look out to the Solar System with wonder. It’s the ultimate in geek-chic with the eight planets explored through data and scientific stories in our signature graphic style. The collection is beautifully printed in the UK on merino wool and silk twill.

The chord-like pattern of Venus represents the whipping winds and scorching heat of the planet as well as the fibres of muscle to add a viscerality to the piece. To emphasise this biology we chose a pink for the main colour. Contrasted with a bright cyan.

UK delivery is free on orders over £60. Delivery charges for orders below £60 are calculated and shown at checkout. Orders are sent using a tracked delivery service.

During the summer months we occasionally operate a slightly reduced fulfilment schedule due to staff holidays. If you need your order for a particular date, please contact us before ordering and we'll do our best to help.

International Delivery

We ship Furious Goose products worldwide using tracked international delivery services.

Shipping costs are calculated for your destination and shown at checkout. International delivery is free on orders over £250.

Our products are all made in the UK but we will will nonetheless be adopting batch numbers on our labels to improve traceability.
