A very striking silk pre-tied bow tie, featuring oriental dragons with rainbows and giant polka dot pearls. The East Asian dragon is a formidable symbol of good luck so what better than this accessory to bring good fortune to your day.
The silk saglia has an exquisite handle with its ribbed texture that catches the light. We are proud to be made entirely in Macclesfield, the 'Home of English Silk' and the official end of the Silk Road.
“When the wind rises, when the dust rumbles, and the sky cracks and there is a great din, when it becomes dark and the wind blows, then it is said... the dragons are wrathful.”
Dragons a symbol of elemental power and of good fortune, inspiring fear and wonder in equal measure. In our Dragon collection of luxury accessories we have brought two of these legendary creatures to life on silk. All tooth and claw is the lucky East Asian Dragon. And all feather and fang is Quetzalcoatl the flying serpent god of the Americas.
Here we are really leaning into the chinoiserie by using the traditional blue and white of Qinghua (most famous for the Willow Pattern) later mimicked in Europe with Spode or Delftware. The blue colour comes from the cobalt ore that is used in the process.

The General Product Safety Regulation (GSPR) is a critical framework established by the European Union to ensure that products placed on the market are safe for consumers. This regulation mandates that manufacturers and distributors take all necessary measures to prevent risks associated with their products. As a responsible entity, Furious Goose is committed to adhering to these regulations and enhancing the safety and transparency of our offerings.
Under the GSPR, several key rules must be followed:
1. Product Safety: All products must be safe for use and should not pose any risk to consumers. This includes ensuring that products are designed and manufactured to meet safety requirements. Silk, wool and cashmere scarves are not considered risky products but we will be compiling some safety advice regarding fire risk etc.
2. Labeling and Instructions: Clear and accurate labeling is essential. Products must include safety information, usage instructions, and any necessary warnings to inform consumers about potential risks. We will be adding QR codes to relevant pages on our website to our packaging. This will ensure that consumers have access to all necessary details to use our products safely.
3. Traceability: Manufacturers must ensure that their products can be traced throughout the supply chain. This includes maintaining records of product origin and distribution. Our products are all made in the UK but we will will nonetheless be adopting batch numbers on our labels to improve traceability.
Furious Goose is dedicated to ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed safety expectations. By proactively addressing GSPR requirements, we aim to foster consumer trust and contribute to a safer marketplace.
