The collection is our latest collaboration, this time with the outstanding violinist, composer and UNICEF Austria Honorary Representative Yury Revich.

What if Vivaldi were to write the Four Seasons today with our increasingly unstable weather patterns? Do we even have four distinct seasons any more? And what would this new music look like expressed in colour, pattern and silk?

To answer these questions and to create the collection we got creative with a spectrogram (a visual representation of sound) containing the data from a live recording of Yury playing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on his 1709 Stradivarius.

How Vivaldi's concerto would sound if written in today’s world? This was the question that sparked this collaboration with violinist Yury Revich. With our increasingly unstable weather patterns, can we even say that we still have four distinct seasons? How would this new music take form if expressed in the bold colours and beautiful prints which are synonymous with Furious Goose? The concept for the collection was born. You can read more about the collaboration here.

Blue and yellow are inspired by the blue skies of sprint and the yellow of the daffodils, primrose and crocus. All with a stormy streak of black to remind us that winter isn't far away.

The General Product Safety Regulation (GSPR) is a critical framework established by the European Union to ensure that products placed on the market are safe for consumers. This regulation mandates that manufacturers and distributors take all necessary measures to prevent risks associated with their products. As a responsible entity, Furious Goose is committed to adhering to these regulations and enhancing the safety and transparency of our offerings.

Under the GSPR, several key rules must be followed:

1. Product Safety: All products must be safe for use and should not pose any risk to consumers. This includes ensuring that products are designed and manufactured to meet safety requirements. Silk, wool and cashmere scarves are not considered risky products but we will be compiling some safety advice regarding fire risk etc.

2. Labeling and Instructions: Clear and accurate labeling is essential. Products must include safety information, usage instructions, and any necessary warnings to inform consumers about potential risks. We will be adding QR codes to relevant pages on our website to our packaging. This will ensure that consumers have access to all necessary details to use our products safely.

3. Traceability: Manufacturers must ensure that their products can be traced throughout the supply chain. This includes maintaining records of product origin and distribution. Our products are all made in the UK but we will will nonetheless be adopting batch numbers on our labels to improve traceability.

Furious Goose is dedicated to ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed safety expectations. By proactively addressing GSPR requirements, we aim to foster consumer trust and contribute to a safer marketplace.

Testimonials

Love the bright, beautiful patterns with the added bonus of being British made. Bought a pocket square previously and then a tie for male relatives. Very impressed with how quickly the items were packaged and despatched. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different.

I recently buy a pocket square from the collection "Enchanted Forest". Both materials and design are absolutely outstanding. The silk is soft and heavy-enough to give a nice drape. Colours are brilliant, and the printing of the design was fantastically executed in both sides of the piece. Fully recommended!
